The presiding deity is called by Sri Venkata Satyanarayana Swami. Temple is located on Ratnagiri hills near Annavaram village in East-Godavari District, Andhra Pradesh.

As said in the Srimath Maha Vaikunta Narayanopanishath,  Lord Sri Venkata Satyanarayana Swami self-manifested here with his consort with Goddess Lakshmi on Maha Narayana Yantram to bless devotees.

As per folklore, Ratnakarudu did penance for Lord Rama, an incarnation of Lord Vishnu to reside on his head forever. Impressed Rama granted boon that his will be fulfilled in Kaliyuga. Ratnakarudu transformed himself as a hill on which Sri Veera Venkata Satyanarayana self-manifested on Ratnagiri.

Annavaram Satyanarayana Vratham procedure:

Vratham be held for the group of people. Couples used to perform this pooja regularly. One must have Prasadam after Vratham. Vratham runs for 2 hours followed by main deity Darshan.

Devotee not required to purchase any Pooja material as it is provided by the temple itself.

Annavaram Satyanarayana Swamy Vratham Ticket Cost:

Vratham ticket costs: Rs.150, Rs.250, Rs.700 and Rs.1500

Vratham will be performed daily from 06:00 am to 05:00 pm in batches. This Vratham will be performed for the group of devotees and batch starts in every 30 mins. Tickets can be purchased at the counter for the same day Vratham. Ticket counter Timings: 05:00 am to 04:30 pm.

Dress Code: Any decent outfit will be fine. Preferably White Pancha/ Dhoti or pant and shirt is for men and Sarees with blouse or churidar with dupatta is for female.

By Air: The nearest airport is at Rajahmundry which is 80 km away.

By Train: The direct train is available from all parts of Andhra Pradesh.

By Road. This temple can be reached easily by Bus or Taxi from Kakinada or Rajahmundry.
