Desert National Park situated in a town named Jaisalmer near Rajasthan. This National Park was established in the year 1981. It occupies an area of about 3162 square kilometres. The National Park has a great bird population. The land is predominated by compact salt lake bottoms and by craggy rocks. Unlike the other national parks, the bird population in the desert kind of environment gives a unique look. The National Park is entirely dominated by silky desert sand.
