Desert National Park History

Desert National Park situated in a town named Jaisalmer near Rajasthan. This National Park was established in the year 1981. It occupies an area of about 3162 square kilometres.  The National Park has a great bird population.  The land is predominated by compact salt lake bottoms and by craggy rocks.   Unlike the other national parks, the bird population in the desert kind of environment gives a unique look. The National Park is entirely dominated by silky desert sand. The spotlight points towards the “Great Indian Bustard”, this birdie can be seen in a good population in this park which one of the spectacular point of this park. Also, this park has a unique feature which makes it special that is the park is spotted with the State Bird, State Tree, State Animal And State Flower located all together at a single location.
