Kumari Amman Temple Kanyakumari

Kumari Amman Temple is also known as Devi Kanyakumari is one of the 52 Shakthi Peethams. Here the Goddess Parvathi looks in Adolescent Girl Child.

It’s believed that the right shoulder and spine area of Sathi corpse fell here creating the presence of Kundalini Shakthi in the region.

This temple is in the origin of Triveni Sangamam (the Indian Ocean, Bay of Bengal, Arabian Sea).

Kanyakumari Amman Temple History

This temple is very historical in Kanyakumari, the greatness of the temple is even mention is epics like Ramayanam and Mahabharatam.
