Indira Gandhi Wildlife Sanctuary

Indira Gandhi Wildlife Sanctuary was previously known as the Annamalai Wildlife Sanctuary. One can reach the place by having an hour’s journey from the Monkey Falls. The Sanctuary is home for wild boars, elephants, leopards, tigers, and many animal and bird species. The sanctuary offers the Safari to explore the beautiful wildlife flora and fauna. Elephant camps are famous for the tourists.

Monkey Falls offers trekking. Trekking here will make you meet all the expectations of yours. For participating in this adventure one needs to get the permissions from Tamil Nadu Forest Department.

Monkey Falls Timings

The Visiting hours to the fall are from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM and one can spend 2-3 hours in the park.

The ticket for entering the park is Rs 20 per head.
