Pachaimalai Temple History
Pachaimalai Murugan Temple is one of the popular Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Murugan. The temple is situated on the hillock exhibiting the Dravidian architecture. This temple is popularly known for various customs and rituals, especially the Vaasthu pooja, people come to the lord and pray for their construction. Devotees also go for Ayyapa mala ritual in Panchaimalai. The Sashti fasting is performed by many couples who expect children, also people worship Kalyana Subramanyar and Lord Guru Dakshinamurthy for marriages. The idol of the Lord Balamurugan faces towards the west as in like the Dhandayuthapani Temple of Palani. The temple also houses other little temple dedicated to the other deities. the temple situated on the top of the hill has a serene look, the temple is a five storey huge construction. Devotees flock to the temple with many wishes and prayers to seek blessings of the Lord.
