Pancha Rathas History
Pancha Rathas or Five Rathas or Pandava Rathas are one of the popular monuments located Mahabalipuram. This is among the UNESCO World Heritage site. Each of these monuments resembles the chariots hence they are called rathas. These Five rathas are dedicated to the Pandavas (Dharmaraja, Bhim, Arjun, Nakul Sahadeva Rathas) and Draupadi (Draupadi Rath) of Mahabharath. Each Chariot is been carved out of single giant monolith rock. Each one of the chariots is different from each other. These Chariots emits the Dravidian architecture.
