Shila Devi Temple Jaipur History:

Shila Devi Temple situated in Jaipur is dedicated to goddess Durga. The idol of the deity was brought to Jaipur from Amber by Raja Man Singh |. The idol was brought and installed in the temple in 1604 century.  The Shila Devi Mandir is an ancient temple of the Pink City Jaipur,  which ( Temple) was established in1580 AD.  It is located at 10 km distance from Jaipur.  Devotees visit this temple of goddess Durga offer special Poojas to the deity and seek blessings from the mother goddess. The deity is also known as the stone goddess ( Shila – Stone).  The temple hasba great area with its finest architecture,  during the festive season especially during Navratri the temple gets lighten up with thousand of lights and lamps.  Devotees visit this temple to enjoy and experience the glory of the temple and to feel the glimpse of the festivities.
