Shrikrishna Science Centre is India’s first regional level science centre, and it is only science centre of Bihar which is been established in Patna in 1978. The Shrikrishna Science Centre was named after Dr Shrikrishna Singh the first Chief Minister of Bihar. Science Centre was inaugurated in the year 1978 of 14th April. Science Centre plays an important role in generating awareness about the “Science education or knowledge”, and attracting people from various states especially students and other people who are interested in science.

Science Centre exhibits various features such as the “Ground Floor” named as “Fun Science Gallery”. And the two top floors where many scientific experiments exhibited. The aspect of Shrikrishna Science Centre is one can easily acquire knowledge through practical demo rather from books. Visitors who visit the Shrikrishna Science Centre says the energy ball demo gives the great pleasure of Knowledge.

The Patna Planetarium is considered one of the oldest and largest planetariums in Asia. Inside the auditorium, there is a wide range of film shows displayed which are relevant to astronomy. This is one of the most famous places in Patna.

This place is known for holding around 50,000 rare art objects that are worth admiring.

  1. Japanese Peace Pagoda

The Japanese Peace Pagoda is a 125-foot tall statue that was built by the Buddh Vihar society. This white beautiful stupa is surrounded by greenery and decorated by a pond along with spending time enjoying boating. Around the Stupa, there is a museum on the north bank that includes the artifacts that were found during excavation.

  1. Sanjay Gandhi Botanical Garden:

The botanical garden is also called the Patna Zoo and people can come here with kids to enjoy some exciting things like elephant rides and toy trains.

  1. Lauriya Nandangarh:

It is famous for the beautifully architectured Ashokan Pillar, this surreal town is located at a distance of 28 km northwest of Bettiah.  At this place, around 40 pillars were built by Emperor Ashoka originally but in the present day, only one pillar exists which is worth visiting.

Gandhi Ghat, a popular religious site located on the banks of the river Ganga is also a prominent tourist spot in Patna as the ashes of Mahatma Gandhi were immersed at this place. The main attraction of this beautiful site is the Ganga Aarti in which a group of priests dressed in saffron robes offer prayers with 51 lamps.
