1. VARANASI GHATS:

Assi Ghat:

Assi Ghat, one of the popular spot of Varanasi. This is the southernmost Ghatsof Varanasi. Pilgrims visit this Ghat to worship and to pay homage to Lord Mahadev, where the lord is in the form huge Shiv Linagam located under the Peepal tree.

Dashashwamedh Ghat:

Dashashwamedh Ghatis the popular Ghats of Varanasi, it is believed that Lord Brahma sacrificed 10 horses in the Yajna; hence the Ghat got the name Dashashwamedh. Every Tuesday special aartis will be performed at this Ghat. This Ghat is close to the Vishwanath Temple. The most admiring feature of the Ghat is taking a boat ride along and watching the aarti being performed by the Brahmins.

Manikarnika Ghat
