Trivandrum Zoological Park or Trivandrum Zoo or the Thiruvananthapuram Zoo situated in Thiruvananthapuram. The zoo is stretched to the area of 55 acres. The zoo is a residence for 82 species. It was opened to the public in the year 1857. This zoo is one of the oldest Zoo in India. The roaring lions and tigers, crawling reptiles, singing birds gives a pleasant feeling to the soul apart from this the climate and atmosphere of Trivandrum are quite attractive.
