Chinnar Wildlife Sanctuary History:

The Chinnar Wildlife Sanctuary situated in Munnar of Kerala. The sanctuary is famous for the ethnic cultural heritage. The sanctuary is covered with medicinal plants. The Chinnar Wildlife sanctuary shows a full of giant elephants, grizzled giant squirrel, languor’s, leopards, tigers and many other wild species. The sanctuary has many attractions like the vasiyapara ethnic huts, treetop houses and log houses. One can experience the wildlife tour by trekking or by the safaris.

The wildlife sanctuary is composed of a beautiful riverside spot which is breathtaking. Apart from that, the forest view can be spotted from a higher point, that is from the watchtower. The Churulipetty riverside, the Kootar riverside and the Thoovam waterfall make the trek more memorable.
