The mysterious story is still unveiled. The migratory bird of Jatinga commits suicide on the moonless nights in between 7 pm and 10 pm which is the most mysterious aspect of Jatinga till date. This mystery plays a major role in attracting the ornithologists.

Ornithologists suggested this kind of rare mysterious phenomenon is due to the search of the light source by the birds in the windy fog covered monsoon season. During this search, birds get struck or hit by the trees or some others like walls or poles which leads to these birds death. But whatever the reason is this mysterious point of Jatinga pulls tourists every year.

During the months of  September to November, the valley gets wrapped in fog and mist which makes Jatinga special to visit, but it is mostly awaited in August to April. Jatinga is provided with a watchtower from which the visitors can watch the mysterious phenomenon with a prior permission.
