The Lingaraja Temple, located in Bhubaneshwar the capital city of Odisha, is dedicated to It is one of the biggest temples of Bhubaneshwar, this temple is one of the oldest temples. This Temple was constructed in the 10th or 11th century.
This temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva, The Lord in this temple exists in the avatar of Harihara. It is believed that Goddess Parvathi had killed two demons in this place. After the battle, goddess Parvathi felt thirsty, and Lord Shiva called all Rivers. The Bindusagar Sarovar exists here and the temple lies near the temple. This Temple also shows the Shaligram of Lord Vishnu.

- Goddess Parvathi Killed 2 Demons named Kriti and Vasa
- To Quench Goddes Parvathi’s thirst after the battle Lord Shiva called all rivers hence the Bindu Sagar Lake is at the Temple premises
