Parambikulam Wildlife Sanctuary History:

Parambikulam Wildlife Sanctuary also known as the Tiger Reserve situated in Palakkad of Kerala. This magnificent wildlife sanctuary was built in the year 1973. The Parambikulam Wildlife Sanctuary is stretched to an area of 391 km2. The sanctuary is home to different tribes like Kadar, Muduvar and Malasar. Various mammals, birds, butterflies, amphibians, reptiles and the beautiful climate and to enjoy that many jungle treks, camps, safaris are been facilitated in the sanctuary.

The parambikulam wildlife sanctuary is filled with natures beauty also the wildlife charm add extra feather to its beauty. Activities like trekking, bamboo rafting are quite interesting fun activities which act as attracting points. The pollution free atmosphere, fresh air and the natural music played by the wildlife are breathtaking.
