Devotees should book the accommodation of the rooms in advance. The following process tells how to book the accommodation at Srisailam

1. Users should login to the official website of Srisailam. 
2. If the new user the user should first register and then login to the account.
3. The user should select the Accommodation tab displayed on the home page of the website after logging in. 
4. The user has to select the date on which the room should be booked and the type of the room and number of beds.
5. Based on the availability of the rooms on the selected date, type of room, and the number of beds the user can able to book the accommodation. 

Note* this booking through the Devastanam is purely based on the luck of the user. Devotees should book the rooms 3 months advance for no rush.

Srisailam Temple History

This is the only place where Shiva and Parvati give darshan to their devotees as Mallikarjuna Swamy and Bramarambika Devi. Srisailam is the place that is established as Jyotirlinga and Shakthi Peetha too. Among 18 Shakthi Peetha Srisailam is one among those.

According to Skanda Purana, the holy dip at Ganga River for 2000 times and residing at Kaashi for several years is equal to the Darshan of Mallikarjuna Swamy and Bhramaramba. It is also called as “Dakshina Khasi”. Here the devotees can enter into the Garbhalaya and can touch the shrine to get the Moksha.
