As per the Legend, Lord Narasimha appeared before Sapatharishi to a Kadigai time and blessed them with Moksha. Lord Narasimha also offered Darshan for Prahalad in a Yoga Posture at this place. Anjaneya Swamy helped King Indradyumna in Killing the demon Arakkan Nikumban. The devotees used to take bath in Chakra Theertham before taking steps path.This temple is 120 km from Tiruvannamalai station and can be reached by private vehicle.

Tiruttani Murugan Temple
This is one of the Six Murugan Temples located in Tiruttani and is 145 km from Tiruvannamalai. As per the Legend, Lord Murugan stayed here after killing the demon Surapadman. It is believed that Murugan fell in love with Valli and married her at this place with the help of Ganesh. Panchamruthabhishekam and Thiru Kalyanam Special Pooja are known at this temple.
Thiruverkadukarumari Temple, Thiruperumputhur
As per the Legend, Devikarumari in the form of an old lady approached sun god to know here future. Sun God rejected her request unknowingly. The goddess disappeared from the place. Sun god soon realised that his brightness is reducing. Sun pleaded Devikarumari for the mistake. Impressed for Goddess accepted the apology and restored his brightness and glory. Sun also requested that his rays touch the Goddess twice in a year that is during Panguni and Purattasi months.
