Beas Kund is one of the popular natures trekking destination. The beautiful valley surrounding the Beas river gives a majestic and breath-taking look. The fresh breeze and the fresh water of the river makes you feel amazed with its spectacular nature beauty. One has to trek an altitude about 11,975 ft. to enjoy this beauty. It takes about 3 to 4 days to cover the trail to Manali Beas Kund

Itinerary of the Trek:
Day 1:
- Start from Manali (6,726 ft) to Dhundi (9,317 ft)
- Trek to Bakarthach (10,850 ft which is 5 km takes about 4-5 hours’ time)
- Drive from Manali to Dhundi, via Solang (8400 ft).
- Manali to Dhundi (Duration: 1 hr; Distance 25 km)
- Start Trek from Dhundi along the river Beas.
- Head to Bakarthach (Shepherd’s Field)

Day 2:
- From Dhundhi to Lohali
- One can spot Blue Arrows on the boulders directing the trail.
- The water source at Dhundhi is located at a distance 0.7 km away, so it is recommended to fill water bottles & carry water at this zone of trail.

- Bakarthach Campsite log bridge.
- Beas River
- Once you reach the Bakarthach Campsite trek leads into the subalpine bushes (1.6 km)
- After trekking 1.6 km trail enters into the campsite Lohali.
Day 3:
- From Lohali to Lady Leg to Beas Kund and trek back to Lohali
- It takes about 5 to 6 hours to trek the distance of 3.5 km (To & FRO)
- It is recommended to carry water as there is no water source available.
- After trekking 3823 meters after 3 hours, one can spot the Lady Leg
- Lady leg is the summit camp of Friendship Peak
- Trek again from lady Leg Campsite for 15 to 20 minutes towards left to reach the ridge.
- From the ridge one can spot Pir Panjal Range & Dhauladhar Range; Peaks like Hanuman Tibba , Shitidhar, Ladakhi..etc.
- From there trek to Lohali.
Day 4:
- From Lohali to Solang Valley.
- It takes about 5 to 6 hours to trek. The trek is about 9 km distance.
- After trekking 9 km one can reach the Solang Valley.
