The Namdapha National Park is a mysterious tropical  rainforest which is stretched to an area of 2000 square kilometres from the core of the beautiful paradise. The Namdapha exhibits the banks of  Noa – Dihing river to  The forest meadows and to the perennial snow.The altitude of the Namdapha national forest ranges from 200 meters to 4571 meters which results in a vast diversity of various living species. The park is a residence of thousand different plant varieties including 19 amazing mammals including 4 major cats. The national parka also shows about four hundred varieties of birds and more than 250 species of butterfly species in it.

The MIAO is the spot for adventure and it is the gateway to the park, which leads to a muddy road which is the initial and starting point to the park. The forest doesn’t have any power or network facility, which allows the people to concentrate completely on the beauty of nature. The panoramic view of the Noa – Dihing river brings a company of different animals, bird and butterflies.

The trekking in the rainforest is a unique experience, the landscape of the Namdapha changes according to the elevation. That allows taking a walk on the river bed. The bamboo forest leads to a semitropical forest or to an open grassland. Each and every step in the forest gives a unique excitement. A bamboo bridge over the river allows crossing the river. The  Namdapha is composed of a variety of flora and fauna. It was declared a national park in the year 1947.
