Narayan Nagbali Pooja is performed for Pitra Dosha and kala Sarpa Dosha Nivarana. This puja is performed in Trimbakeshwar Temple. It is a three day puja. One can get the fruitful results of this puja on performing on the special days. It is strongly recommended that performing this puja on Ashlesha Nakshatra days and on the Sukla Shathti day, these are the best time to perform Narayan Nagabali Puja.

Best Time to Perform Narayan Nagabali Pooja
On Ashlesha Nakshatra Days
7th Day From Amavasya (Sukla Shashti Day)
Puja shouldnot be performed on Grahana,, Ekadasi, Ashtami, Dasami days
Note: Person who have performed this puja should not visit any temple after this puja
Next day of the puja has to take headbath and then can go for temple

Trimbakeshwar Temple Narayan Nagbali Pooja Procedure:
It’s a 3 day Pooja :
Day 1:
Devotee Performing this Puja has to be shave their head
Devotee should rinse their mouth with water from the “Kushwart Ghat”
Devotee should dress up in new clothes and pray to their ancestors
Collect Water in the kalash (Copper Vessel) from the Kushwat Ghat, later darshna Lord Trimbakeshwar
Enter into the Dharmshala
Get the Dharbha Ring From the Pandit (Ring should be taken by the pearson who is performing the Puja)
Person (Male Devotee) should offer 16 rice balls in to the Hawan (Fire Kund)
5 Pindas to be offered to 5 Kalash
Women should be out of this place during Pind Dan
Pandit will make a lamp from a rice ball, lightens it and guides the person to keep it at a particular location
Pandit prepares Human body like structure made with coconut and wheat flour, Person has to donate 5 Pinds to this satue
The person has to carry this coconut made satue to cremation ground to burn it. Later the person has to move in anticlock wise direction to the body
After this process the person has to carry the stone back
Now the stone is offered with 18 pinds
After performing this ritual, once it is completed couples has to bath in the Kushawart Ghat wearing the same clothes
The couples performing this ritual has to wear this dress for the second day
Day 2:
On 2nd Day male has to collect the ashes of the coconut statue in a kalash and has to leave in river Ganga
Pour Milk, Cow dung, Curd at the Cremation Place
Male has to take bath in Kushawat Ghat
After having bath dry yourself and darshan Lord Shiva
After Darshan reach Dharmshala for continuing 2nd process
Pundit will tie the Dharba ring to male again
Now the male offers pind facing towards south. 16 pinds will be offered, pandit will continue the process
Day 3:
Kala Sarpa Dosha Nivarana Puja will be performed on the 3rd day
Clothes used for the last 2 days should be disposed
Person performed the puja has to wear new clothes
