Gaji Tala:

The left side of the temple towards East, there is a pond called Gaji Pukar.which is 260feet in length and 120 feet in width. Northeast of the pond is called Gaji Tala, which is the place Ramakrishna Paramahamsa explored the Islam. there was a peepal tree which was not disturbed during the construction of Dakshineswar Kali temple by Rani Rashmoni. Then this place is marked as peer where Hindus and Muslims came to offer the Prayers.

Kuthi Bhari:

It is located very close to the Gaji tala, which is built by Lord Hastings. Whenever Rani Rashmoni visits the Dakshineswar along with her Daughter and son-in-law she used to reside here. Later Sri Rama Krishna used to reside in the ground floor of the residence along with his wife Sarada between 1855 to 1870.Now it is used by the police for camp lodged for the safety of tourists.

Nahabat Khana :

It is the combination of the many musical instruments which was used during the ancient times, but today temple authorities are using only for Dhak, Dhol, Kashi during the “Aarti”, and just below a Nahabat there is room of Sri Sarada Ma, she was residing here when she arrives to Dhakshineswar.

Chadni :

It is situated in the bank of Ganga between the series of Shiva temples. few couple of steps towards Ganga leads to the Chadni where Rama Krishna’s Vedantic guru Sri  Totapuri descended from his journey.

Nat Mandir:

It is a 16 pillared structure with the open top as an open hall which is used for the many spiritual discourses as well as spiritual songs. Above the Nat Mandir, there is an idol of Lord Shiva, when Ramakrishna arriving in the Kali temple he visits Shiva temple before entering kali temple. Towards the south, there is the place for religious sacrifice. It was here in a religious gathering Bhairavi Bramhani Yogeshwari Devi according to the Shastra proved Sri Ramakrishna to be the avatar.

In this mandir in 1864, the “Annomeru Utsav” was held by the Mathur Mohan Biswas.various religion songs like “Chandigaan”, Jatragan”,”Kali Katha”,”Bhajan Kirtan”,”Matri Sangeeth “, etc.

Room Of Sri Rama Krishna:

It is located in the temple premises towards the north west corner and he stayed here for 14 years and previously he used to stay at kuthu bari after the demise of his nephew when he doesn’t want to stay over there. after renovation also he preferred to stay permanently at temple premises rooms and we called it today as “Room of Rama Krishna”.

In the year 1872, he conducted the “Phalharini kali puja” when he offered pooja to “ Sri Sarada ma” considered as the Mother Goddess. The lid that held Ganga water in his room is still found in this place. He had spiritual discussions with Swamy Vivekananda, Keshab Chandra Sen.

Bakul Tala:

Bakul Tala Ghat is very close to Nahabat Khana, which is the place where Sarada Ma used to take her bath. Bakul tree does not exist but still, the river bank exists.Bhairavi Bramhani Yogeshwari, the guru of Rama Krishna taught the discipline of “Tantra sadhana” in this place.

Pabchabhati :

Near to the Bakul tala towards north panchabhati is located, Under the guidance of Rama Krishna five trees are planted they are Neem, Amlaki, Banyan, peepal and wood apple.and “Radha Kund “, and “Shyam Kund “, the soil is used to plan these trees. Rama Krishna spent 12 years sadhana under this panchabhati. He took his Sanyas according to the Vedic rites in presence of his guru “Totapuri”. A small hut is built in panchabhati which are rebuilt as “Shanthi Kuthi”, which is close to the Shiva temple where pooja offered daily by the Rama Krishna.
