1. Place To Visit Pangong Lake
Pangong Lake is located at a height of about 14,270 Ft. This lake is 134 Km long and is extended from India to the Tibetan Autonomous Region, China. During winter the lake will be frozen completely. The eastern part of the lake is fresh, the western part is saline. As the water is brackish it has very low micro-vegetation. There are no fishes or other aquatic life on the Indian side of the Lake.
The lake is an important breeding ground for a variety of birds including a number of migratory birds. During summer, Bar-headed goose and Brahmini ducks are commonly seen. The region also supports a number of wildlife’s that include the Kiang and the Marmot.

2. Nubra Valley In Ladakh
Nubra Valley is also known as “Broken Moonland” because in winter the valley looks like the landscape of the moon. It is located in the northeast of Ladakh and is a Tri-armed valley. Nubra valley is formed by the Shyok River and the Siachen River.
Nubra valley is originally called as LDUMRA which means ‘The Valley of Flowers’. It is also known as Orchard of Ladakh.
The valley is a remote place but captures the interest of tourists as well as trekking destination. Diskit Monastery which is 350 years old is the main attraction of this village.
You can see apricot trees loaded around the entire village with views closer to Karakorum Range. Nubra Valley is the must visit place, if you miss to visit, then you miss the heart of Ladakh.

3. Lamayuru Monastery
Lamayuru Monastery is a Tibetan Buddhist monastery, in Leh district. This monastery is the oldest and one of the largest monasteries in Ladakh. This is in the valley and has a clear lake at the time of the Sakyamuni. The lake was dwelling place of the holy snake.
King of Ladakh ordered the construction of this Monastery in 10th century. There are 5 buildings in the original Gompa. The centre one stands still.
The area surrounding the monastery is declared as the sanctuary where no one could be arrested and no taxes were collected. Lamayuru is still considered as the Tharpa Ling, the “Place of Freedom”.

4. Shanti Stupa Ladakh
Shanti Stupa was constructed in 1991 by Bhikshu Gyomyo Nakamura, the Japanese Buddhist. The architecture and the beauty of this place are unexplained. This is the white-dome structure dedicated to Buddha. The idol was enshrined by the 14th Dalai Lama. The beauty of Shanti Stupa takes a level up at night, especially during the full moon night when it is naturally illuminated by the moonlight.
Shanti Stupa is situated at an elevation of 4,267 metres and provides a spectacular view of the Himalayan Ranges that surround this structure. The walls of Shanti Stupa are painted with colourful reliefs that depict the milestones in the life of Gautama Buddha- his birth, his fight against devils, his victories over injustice and his death. There is a very big meditation hall inside where you can sit, chant the Lord’s name, meditate and find your inner peace.

5. Zanskar Valley Ladakh
Zanskar Valley has an area of about 5,000 sq. km and is situated at an elevation of 13,154 Ft above the sea level. Due to the heavy snowfall in the region for about 9 months of the year and no travel is done during that time. With a backdrop of the beautiful snow-capped glacier mountain peaks and the crystal clear water gushing down the valley, it has gained even more popularity.
Zanskar Valley is one of the delightful Place To visit, located in the eastern corner of Jammu and Kashmir and is separated from Ladakh by this mountain range. 6. Tso Moriri Ladakh
Tso Moriri is also known as Mountain Lake. It is the 2nd popular lake in Ladakh region. It is situated at an altitude of about 4595 metres above the sea level. The lake runs about 28 Km in length and 100 ft deep. The camp around the lake gives the breath-taking view of the lake.
The snow-capped mountains in the perfect waters of the lake and the migratory birds flying above the majestic lake will make you fall in love with nature.

7. Alchi Monastery
Alchi monastery is located in the Alchi village of Ladakh. This monastery unlike the other is cemented on the flat ground. The traditional architecture of the monastery is a canonical complex which has 3 separate temples like Dukhang, Sumstek and Manjushri. The foundation of the monastery was in the 10th century by an eminent Tibetan scholar, Rinchen Zangpo.
This monastery is also a place for adventure lovers. River Rafting is a popular thing.

8. Magnetic Hill
In the Magnetic Hill people can experience the magnetic interference. There is a parking spot on the road and if the car is parked on that slot, you can experience the interference.
