Cherthala Karthyayani Temple is one of the popular temples dedicated to the deity Karthyayani. The temple follows many rituals and customs to worship the deity. There are many festivals celebrated in the temple but the annual festival is known as Aarrattu and the Karthika Star is widely celebrated. Cherthala can be easily reached through the boats along the backwaters or one can hire private vehicles to get the chance of darshan (to get the scenic view of the deity). Devotees flock to the temple to worship the mother goddess Karthyayani.
