Ettumanoor Mahadeva temple situated in Kollam of Kerala is an ancient temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. It is a myth that Pandavas and the sage Vyas worshipped at this temple. The temple has a unique Dravidian architecture. The temple is wrapped in the beautiful mural paintings. The temple roof is made out of copper sheets and is composed of 14 ornamental tops. The temple has a great significance. The architecture of the temple makes you amazed. The Ezharaponnana Ezhunallathu Festival is a famous festival celebrated in the festival it is celebrated for ten days. A great procession also takes place during this eve. Both locals and the non-locals visit this temple, especially during this eve. Also, Shivratri is also celebrated grandly in the temple of Mahadev.
