Tattapani situated 50 km away from the beautiful Shimla is popularly known for the hot spring coming out from the side of the Sutlej river. These hot water springs are known for their medicinal values because of the presence of Sulphur in the water. Also, the bath in the hot water spring in the monsoons make a great combination. Also, many bath tubs are been arranged by the local shops for the sake of the tourists. This place is popular for adventures and also for some Hindu traditions the Sani dan means the donation. The offerings are offered to the Sani god on Saturdays. The donation is given to the Pandits or priests. Usually materials like rice, dal, wheat, will be weighed accordingly and been donated to Pandya’s. Also, a local festival is been organized on the occasion of Makarsankranti.

सुंदर शिमला से 50 किमी दूर स्थित तत्तापानी, सतल नदी के किनारे से निकलने वाले गर्म झरने के लिए लोकप्रिय है। इन गर्म पानी के झरनों को पानी में सल्फर की उपस्थिति के कारण उनके औषधीय मूल्यों के लिए जाना जाता है। इसके अलावा, मानसून में गर्म पानी के झरने में स्नान एक शानदार संयोजन बनाता है। साथ ही, पर्यटकों की खातिर स्थानीय दुकानों द्वारा कई बाथ टब की व्यवस्था की गई है। यह स्थान रोमांच के लिए लोकप्रिय है और कुछ हिंदू परंपराओं के लिए सानी दान का अर्थ है दान। शनि भगवान को शनिवार को प्रसाद चढ़ाया जाता है। दान पंडितों या पुजारियों को दिया जाता है। आमतौर पर चावल, दाल, गेहूं जैसी सामग्री को उसी के अनुसार तौला जाएगा और पांड्या को दान कर दिया जाएगा। साथ ही, मकरसंक्रांति के अवसर पर एक स्थानीय उत्सव का आयोजन किया जाता है।
